Located on the edge of Exmoor you will be ideally based for touring Somerset and Devon with only a short drive to a choice of seaside resorts and quiet bays. For those who enjoy exploring the countryside and famous rugged scenery the Brendon Hills the Quantocks Exmoor and many other renowned beauty spots in the area are all nearby. You will be perfectly situated for excellent walking and cycling. If you want to venture further afield and explore a choice of popular attractions within easy reach they include West Somerset Steam Railway Somerwest World at Minehead The Valley of the Rocks Clarks Village at Street Dunster Castle and much more. The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: all with lovely countryside views. Situated upstairs1 double with feature fireplace 1 single and 1 bunk bedroom with distant sea views. Downstairs offers 1 double. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC located upstairs. 1 further shower room with WC adjacent to the downstairs bedroom. Lounge: with woodburner (first basket of logs included) and TV/DVD. Kitchen: well equipped with electric cooker fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher and washing machine. Dining room: with extendable table to seat 7. Sun lounge: with seating and french doors leading out to the patio and garden. Outside: large enclosed lawn area with seating and patio area. Amenities: parking for 2 cars. Bed linen towels electric included a winter heating surcharge of 50 per week is payable to the owner upon arrival. Wi-fi available. 1 small dog welcome. Regret no smoking in the property. Location: beach 4 miles shop 2 miles and pub 1.5 miles. Arrival: 3pm.

And the best way to experience the county’s many attractions is from your base in one of our holiday cottages in Somerset. Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
